Michael Donovan partnered with Lieutenant-General Romeo Dallaire in 2003 to write “Shake hands with the Devil – The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda” a live action film inspired by General Dallaire’s book.
 
A little background : The Romeo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative aims to work with militaries, police, policy makers, academics and humanitarians to make a long-term impact in preventing the recruitment and use of child soldiers.  DHX partnered with the RDCSI to create this project to assist in dealing with this type of War.
